No, it was just beers, coffee, hard cider for Xu-Xu and a girly shandy for me. The pub we visited wasn't serving absinthe.

However, the carrier pigeon had a nice little something for Six from his friends on the other coast. It included his creepy infant's namesake.

I played stand up bass w/ Nick from August 1999 till about a year ago. We used to play at the Ivy Room in Albany, and the Elbo Room in SF about 3-4 times a year. We also played at most of the Roots/Rockabilly events such as Viva Las Vegas, Green Bay, ect. I am on all of his CDs. We may not have accually met, but I think that I might have seen you during that time. Do you know Cari Lee and Steve Merrit?
