I knew it I knew it I knew it.

Cup-O'-Joe
CelticGent
right, but next week they'll say it causes heart attacks and will make you grow fins.
DrinkSlinger
Is that what those are?

I thought they were fat flaps. DG.gif
CelticGent
another example of TMI.
Larspeart
So, what do you all prefer? Light, medium, full-bodied? French roast? Flavored?

With sugar? cream? pie? chai?

Dish it out! How do YOU take your coffee?

(and we already know JBM takes his with a triple shot of cream)
DrinkSlinger
Actually the fat flaps have disappeared since I started the "leaving Las Vegas" diet.

I'm down to 170. yelclap.gif
DrinkSlinger
I like my coffee like I like my women.

Bitter and cold...

Seriously.
Dark, heavy, intense, a little cream to mellow it out. bat_angel.gif
Rimbaud
When I drink coffee, which is rare, I drink decaf w/milk & sugar. Most often, I drink tea w/sugar only.
CelticGent
dark, with cream and Splenda(tastes more like sugar than any other sweetner i've tried).

got the grind & brew maker. gotta have the fresh beans. toot!

...cream?  pie? ...

CreamO-pie!!!
Larspeart
Splenda rules!

Dark roasted, strong, and thick, with half-n-half and 1 sugar. Actually, DS seems pretty close to what I get.
A.B. Normal
I like a nice mix of something dark and strong with a few hazelnut or vanilla flavored beans to mellow it out just a touch.

Here in the desert, I can't drink hot coffee in the summer. So it's iced coffee black. In the winter, either a little cream or a packet of instant cocoa. Depends on my mood.
lambchop
Alright.
I'll admit it.
I don't drink coffee.
It makes me act funny.
CelticGent
hmm.

so you stopped what..say 2 minutes ago?
lambchop
Ha!

Fuck off, paddy.

CelticGent
there's no reason to be racist.
lambchop
You can call me honky if you want to.
DrinkSlinger
Can we honk your calley?
Maldoror
Black, strong and about ten cups a day!
CelticGent
Dinky's quite the smooth ladies man.

"yea, um, hi there, um, there's this neat game called Tune In Tokyo...."

I prefer to play ambulance...

"OK my hand is the ambulance, and when you want it to stop just say redlight"

"REDLIGHT"

"Silly girl, ambulances don't have to stop for redlights" DG.gif

"Can I stick my finger in your belly button"?

"That's not my belly button"!

"That's not my finger"!

That was good!

The next time I am cruising for chics outside the local high school, I have GOT to try that one out!

Indeed. On the other hand, ambulances do watch out for incoming traffic before crossing red lights. They don't *have* to, but sometimes they must.

You could be faced with a woman who cannot resist to enlighten you about this oft forgotten aspect of ambulance driving (and if you don't get that point, I suggest you to try that on my wife, whose handling of the first inappropriately obtrusive dance partner was quite enough to dissuade all other slimy critters).

You misunderstand the purpose of the "game".

It is not to cop a feel.

It is to provide humor and break the ice.

I see. My Old European stereotypes about all things pertaining to the US are playing tricks on me again. And the fact I've seen less sophisticated individuals (American, but not from the US) fail to grasp that finer point.

I'm really sorry (and uncharacteristically, I'm not sarcastic; if I were, I'd add "But are you sure <XXX> also sees it like this?", but I'm not).

Accept these as an apology:

Do you mean people actually mention some things in this forum without caring passionately about them?

Surely you jest!

yes1.gif I especially like the ones with a short sentence quote, a two word response with an emoticon, and a full color picture.

Damn thread evolved already. (Actually, it would probably be more correct to describe it as 'mutated'.)

Coffee. I used to drink 16-22 cups/day on weekdays, but had intense headaches on weekends, and what is left of my stomach was quite displeased with it.

I'm down to three cups a day. Coffee with cream only. No sugar.
jaded prol
Good coffee black but not bitter.

Sixela- You sure are one funny bird.

No apologies necessary. It's only the fucking internet!

coffee: mournings, 1-2 28oz mugs, even in the summer time. use "natural brand" turbanado sugar and add splash of cream, just enough to barely color it. at night i'll have tea, earl grey with very little sugar and a spot of milk. can't go past 36 hours without some, the alien inside the skull tries to break his way out.
Gertz
Summer favourite: frappé, the greek way. Instant coffee, shaken with ice-cold water and suger. Loads of icecubes. Maybe milk. Drunk with a straw.
balzdeep
Foldgiers (sp), preferably made for me before I get my sorry ass to work, but try not to whine to loud while making it if not done already, fucking bitch...Shit, gotta go, the receptionist is coming!
Absinthe_1900
Coffee?, Not for me, I stumble out of bed to the 'fridge, and press a cold can of soda to my eyes, then I shut the door and drink the soda while I take the dog outside. em31.gif
greeneyes
I'm a sucker for a full-city-roasted Indonesian or African variety: complex and slightly acidic, a bit nutty is a plus, and brewed strong enough to fight me off if I even think of coming at it with the milk.
1888
Coffee... black... dark or french roast.

Maybe 3-4 cups a day.

I love coffee!!!
louchefabrik
SB's Mocha Sanani fresh ground and brewed immediately, drink within 20 mins preferably; with a bit of half n'half. Then stagger of to work ,mug in hand.

When not going to work, the same as above , BUT add a bit of Versinthe LB!
Kaffe Versinthe! smoke_black.gif DG.gif

In college, I lived for coffee. I have toned down bit by bit since I finished. That, and I discovered alcohol. em31.gif

I used to use my grinder 4-5 times a week. I swear I haven't plugged it in in a year now. I have like 3 1/2lb bags of whole bean coffee's, just gettin' stale in my cupboard. Anyone game? I'll trade 'em for some Swizzle! Just think of them as 'aged and matured for more mellow cup.'
