Sorry, I have to ask. Kirk, is that some type of Brouille (?) or what? I just wasn't sure. If it is it is wicked cool. If it isn't it is wicked cool. Thanks.

Yes, it's a brouille. Thanks for asking.

That's what I thought. How much water does it hold though? Doesn't look like a whole lot of water would fit in there with a sugar cube as well. Could you post a picture of it in a glass in use. I still think it looks cool as xit though.

Only when it laughs.
Sorry it is a grille so it doesn't hold water , you still have to pour water over it.
The eyes , nostrils and mouth is where the water drips from. It drips nicer than a spoon or average grille because the water can well up slightly instead of running straight through.
When it usurps the moon though , it's a little unsettling . God damn thing gave me nightmares.

This old T.V. cabinet came from my father in law.
I thought it would make a nice bar so I gutted it.
The upper shelf on the right was the turntable , it's on a slide so you can pull it out like a drawer.

While not an antique, there is a nice tea dispenser at Wally land for about $5. It is hexagonal in shape, with a singel dispensor spout (nice brass with a rotary valve). Looks to be about 3L in capacity. If one has the capacity to drillholes in glass, It would be feasible to purchase two, remove the valve from one, and use it to make a two spigot fountain for $10.

(warning - cliche') life is what you make of it.
i do hate real life sometimes, but for the most part i am happy with it. i am amazed with what i have, and try to appreciate it. most people in this world are worse off than we are. (from what i know abou everybody) we are not paralyzed - we can walk, we mostly have our health....most of us have jobs, or skills to get one. we are (mildly) intelligent individuals who seem to be pretty cool.
life is fucking grand. make the most out of it.
i try to not to stress over what i cannot control, and try to make my life as good as possible.
i suggest that you try to do the same.
