You know... I don't have any 'leaky' period spoons. Mine are mostly all Frenchman repros.
Glasses... no original ones.
The only thing original I have is a Pernod Fils unlabeled bottle (1880-1910), a nice, unused Edouard Pernod label, a french 'menu' plate featuring Absinthe...
That's it.

My newest gift from a friend.
She knew I wanted a cool bottle to put some "leftover" or special liquids in and I got this killer green blown glass container.
Obviously not the traditional Absinthe Carafe or whatever, but I love it.

There was one almost exactly like that on eBay last week Nola; I thought it was the same one for a moment. The eBay one said "absinthe" on it (could have been added later, hard to tell from the photo). Anyway, it was a UK auction, seller had a minimum bid of .99 (around $1.90) & it still didn't sell!
So, if you're looking for a matched set, I know where to direct you....

I wanna scratch your collective eyes out, that stuff is so pretty.
eBay is a treadmill to oblivion, or maybe I haven't figured out the right search terms. I have nothing to show for hours of trolling but repro spoons and a snarly disposition. Most recently, I stumbled across a fountain touted as vintage, although the seller wouldn't specify what vintage. To my untrained eye, the thing had Marv's Hobbyshop written all over it.
In her blurbs, Butty says she'll hunt things down for you on her trips abroad. But I'm feeling big-time Butty-shy since joining this board.

Color cover for a B&W movie. Typical. Unless they colorized it. I've not seen many colorized movies that looked better than the original B&W.

Ha..ha..ha.. That is great!
I got two spoons on order (big deal) and hope to make a fountain after they arrive and I get some measurements on my glasses.
The custard cup full of ice water just doesn't do anything aesthetic for the process.
