You guys are just in a bad spot.
Maybe you should look to a local vendor...

The nice things about the Frenchman are:
1) prices quoted are in dollars & include shipping
2) even when currencies fluctuate, his prices don't (I've been buying from him since November, prices have remained constant)
3) great responder to e-mails
4) interested in a spoon too? E-mail him & you'll probably get a really good package price.
5) sends you a nice PayPal invoice, paying him couldn't be easier. (OK, I know there's a bunch of PayPal haters here, I find this convenient myself)
If you just want 1 bottle or 1 bottle & a spoon, the Frenchman is currently your best bet.

Only Heineken seems to suck rocks through a straw as strongly as Bud.
Never had "Miller Genuine Draft" with isomerized hop extract, eh 6er? The stuff is simply bad.

Well, the problem with Pilsner Urquell is that it sucks when it's in bottles (I assume they pasteurize it differently when they put it in bottles), and that I assume they've licensed the name and the recipe to others (just like Interbrew did with Stella Artois).
Pilsner Urquell *in Bohemia* is quite palatable, though. Not as good as even Ceske Budejovicke and certainly not as good as Regent, but god nonetheless.
