has anyone dealt with this vendor?? if so what was service like?? good communication??
absinthoman
This link doesn't work!!!!
Larspeart
I don't even have to have experience with them to know what it'll be like.

They spell AbsinthE wrong, and worse, they spell it the Czeckerland way, meaning they sell Czeckerland Filterated Czeckerland Xit. Ain't nothing on the planet (including AssPeanuts) that is worse.
TheGreenOne
Actually, given their commercial focus, they spell it the check way.

Rapturemine: Please participate in the general discourse here before asking uninformed questions that could be resolved with a little simple research.

I am fairly sure that you won't find anyone here who has ordered from this source, as we tend to shy away from obvious scammers who, among other things, sell low-quality booze for high prices, and spell the name incorrectly to boot. In the future, please

Unless the previous thread on this vendor included a message reading "I ordered from them and this is what happened....", this is a legit question, not a PTFA violation. Some of the members here are more adventurious about tyring new brand and new vendors, so I wouldn't assume than no one here has ordered from them.

OTOH, if anyone is wondering if anyone has ordered from LdF or FSC..

Until I am presented with evidence to the contrary, I feel I can safely assert that any vendor whose chief wares are varieties of 'Filterated Czeckerland Xit' is not a vendor who is likely to be of interest to the vast majority of members of this board. Drinking Czeckerland Filterated Czeckerland Xit is not 'adventurous'. It's foolhardy.

The more germane bit of criticism, though, is the other one: if you want to ask questions (even ill-informed questions) of the folks here, fine. But before you do, please participate actively in the discussion. We'll be much nicer to you.

Dead on. This WAS a matter of PTFA. We have, in SEVERAL places on this site including the FAQ, what we consider to be acceptable vendors that we appreciate and find reliable. I think it is not asking a lot to assume that for one to deviate from those lists of 'approved' vendors is foolhardy.

Also, it is said in serveral places on the site that anything from Czeckerland-land is shit, anything called Filterated Czeckerland Xit is shit, and any site that markets either is likely shit.
TheGreenOne
There's nothing quite like Czeckerland Filterated Czeckerland Xit, other than quadorian hocky playrs.

i was merely asking a simple question!! this vendor happens to sell more than just Czeckerland brands and at very, very, very reasonable shipping rates!!!
Louched Liver
Really!!

I think that this is the same person that has been shilling this vendor in several other Absinthe forums. A practice that is not going to met w/ a warm welcome by most of the people here. So here it goes ...

Main Entry: shill
Function: noun
Etymology: perhaps short for shillaber, of unknown origin
1 : one who acts as a decoy (as for a pitchman or gambler); also : one who makes a sales pitch
Larspeart
Main Entry: Pie
Function: Noun
Etymology: Um. . . an old word for a circular pastry?
1. A sweet fruit or cream-filled pastry which can be served every day. 2. A word that Lars says in the expelative form (i.e. PIE!!!) when he has nothing better to say, which is often. Derived from the SouthParkian 'Peh!', which was derived from the Old Norse 'Pahe!'.

One of the reasons we're being mean to you is that you write like an illiterate middle-school kid. If you want to hang out here, please obey the conventions of the English language in regards to punctuation and sentence construction. We are very serious about our grammar here.

Just to clarify, last month in a different thread we were making fun of a vendor called absinth24.net that featured stumpy vertically compressed pictures of Czeckerland swill.

Yesterday I was looking at absinth24.com. I have no idea if it is connected to absinth24.net. Although the vendor abviously didn't consult with us before registering the domain name with that spelling, he does offer what we might call "2nd teir" French and Spanish brands like Oxygenee, Fancoise Guy, Deva and Serpis.

I have no idea if this vendor is trustworthy or not, but they do offer something other than Czeckerland "Filterated Czeckerland Xit" so asking if anyone here has used them is a legit question.

Genie,

Before I made my first order (well, second if you count the mini pack of LaFee) I was checking out prices from every online shop that I could find. I found "Craig's Online Shop" and actually emailed him about shipping costs because at that point he didn't have them up. I remember he was pretty quick in returning my email, but for I believe that Alandia had better deals, so I went with them instead.

I didn't recall about the absinth24.com until I just checked it and found it was that Craig's site.

so i almost DID order from this guy.

Best part of that skit is, after asking the SAME question to the guy 10 times, he then checks to verify that the guyis SURE he don't know any 'slow, or special people'.

'You're sure? Positive? you don't know ANY?'

No sire. None.

Priceless.

It'll never replace or dethrone South Park, but Crank Yankers is still hellafunny.
