These are the lyrics in a song called: "Walk the Night" by the Skatt Bros. The Skatt Bros. were a late 70's gay leatherman disco band. The song "Walk the Night" was even more popular in the 1980's New Wave/"Goth"/Industrial clubs. In fact, if you ever went to an underground club in the 80's, they probably played this song.
The band Kiss is a clue because Kiss's producer (also known as the 5th Kiss member) Sean Delaney was also the producer for the Skatt Bros.
In the 80's they re-released an all electronic version of "Walk the Night" but changed the name of the band to the "Bent Boys."

The correct answer would be: They are both in a band called the Skatt Bros. Their picture is on the cover of the "Strange Spirits" LP, or their lyrics were used for JBM's signature.
