Well duh ... I figured THAT much.

Come on ... something that will put us in the right direction but make the chase interesting.

DG
Off. Jack Batemaster
Ok. Just one more hint. They are in a gay disco band.
Off. Jack Batemaster
Here's the other guy, in case you forgot:
Sponge Bob
Much as I love all things gay and disco, I've got to give up.

It ain't the BeeGees or Village People and that pretty well sums up my knowledge of the subject.

That first fucker sure did look like Frampton though.
Off. Jack Batemaster
Gay Disco, sort of like these guys:

I got it! I got it!

The Tom Robinson Band!

Uh ... right?

DG
Off. Jack Batemaster
Nope. Keep guessing.
DGLeadbetter
Getting closer?

DG
Grey Boy
New York Dolls.
Off. Jack Batemaster
Well, the Tom Robinson band is gay...
Off. Jack Batemaster
No No.
Grey Boy
Macho, a disco band from the 70's. Recorded I'm a Man.
Off. Jack Batemaster
Good one, but the answer is NO.
DGLeadbetter
Actually, you don't want the name of the people or the band, just what the guy is famous for, yes?

DG
Off. Jack Batemaster
Name of band...where the pictures are from or any significance to JBM.
Off. Jack Batemaster
I have to go home now. Keep researching your gay disco, you might learn something.
Raindog
I've got it, it's RUSH.
Lord Stanley
I was thinking David Johansson aka Buster Poindexter from the New York Dolls initially.

Not him?
Off. Jack Batemaster
HA! NO!
Sponge Bob
The band is from Seattle, and you had ear sex with the guy in the picture.

Do I win?
Off. Jack Batemaster

Not disco but they looked quite gay.
Lord Stanley
Pet Shop Boys?
Off. Jack Batemaster
I gave you a very good clue. If no one guesses it right by tomorrow morning, I'll post the meaning.

What band doesn't?
Sponge Bob
Have they ever performed at the Cuff?
Off. Jack Batemaster
I wish!
Off. Jack Batemaster
Nice try, Raindog! I haven't mentioned them at the LouchedLounge. I did mention them at the LoucheLounge.
Raindog
Rainbow? I have the memory of an alzheimer's patient, I try to write everything down but there is only so much room on my left hand and the desktop.
Sponge Bob
Was there a clue in the fact that the picture you posted of Kiss wasn't Kiss but rather Kiss Forever Band?
Crosby

No, all you guys are in...

The band Kiss is a clue. I'm cutting this off at 0900AM LC time. One more hint:

These young men were brothers but later they just became bent.
Off. Jack Batemaster
10 more minutes...you guys really need to bone up on your gay disco.
DGLeadbetter
I'm out ... can't figger it out.

I looked too ... I'm afraid of what cookies are in my computer.

DG
Off. Jack Batemaster
Ok, according to my watch, it's 0900AM. The guessing is over.
Off. Jack Batemaster
At the old LoucheLounge, ABG and Fee Verte - my signature was/is:

"...he's got a rod beneath his coat, gonna ram right down your throat. Make you grovel on the floor, spit up, and scream and beg for more..."
Off. Jack Batemaster
These are the lyrics in a song called: "Walk the Night" by the Skatt Bros. The Skatt Bros. were a late 70's gay leatherman disco band. The song "Walk the Night" was even more popular in the 1980's New Wave/"Goth"/Industrial clubs. In fact, if you ever went to an underground club in the 80's, they probably played this song.

The band Kiss is a clue because Kiss's producer (also known as the 5th Kiss member) Sean Delaney was also the producer for the Skatt Bros.

In the 80's they re-released an all electronic version of "Walk the Night" but changed the name of the band to the "Bent Boys."
Off. Jack Batemaster
The correct answer would be: They are both in a band called the Skatt Bros. Their picture is on the cover of the "Strange Spirits" LP, or their lyrics were used for JBM's signature.

Strange Spirits LP:
DGLeadbetter
Damn! I was close. Do I at least get a prize for the Gilbert and Sullivan reference?

DG
Off. Jack Batemaster
Nope. BTW - If you have the "Walk the Night" (Skatt Bros. version) single on vinyl, it's worth several hundred dollars.
DGLeadbetter
I'll bet you could find it on Ebay ....

DG
DGLeadbetter
