Re-reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the 4th time.
I'm also reading 'A Conquest of Gaul' By Julius Caesar, finishing The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla, and I picked up a couple reference books from work (yes, I read encyclopedias. Yes, I am a nerd). One is on American History from 1900-2000, another is Ancient EuroFuckyLand, 8000BC-1000AD, and the other is our new Enc. of Surgery. Nice light reading. Yes, my nightstand is FULL of half-read books.

There's always the "Foundation" series when you've finished.
And Nemesis, if you just want a single book.
As for me, currently:
- Through the Looking Glass (once again).
- Guns, Germs and Steel (Jared Diamond)
- The Scarlet Petal and the White
- Infinite Jest

in very short spurts
and the odd browse through Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion, the Victorian novels of Charles Palliser (the Unburied, the Quincunx) and the Name of the Rose.

Hope to finish "The Wolves of Calla" next

Next book will be something written by
Iain Banks. "Inversions" maybe.
I´m sure Sixela would love his books

Continue with the empire and foundation series
Assimov , in one of his last books; had listed a storyline chronology of all his sci-fi novels from the robot to detective thru empire and foundation series. They were not written in(real time?)chronological order .
I suggest you read them in the order he listed them . (Sorry, I moved about a month ago and all my Sci-fi's are still packed so I can't list them or refer you to which book had the list. Try a search)

I'd suggest inserting a break for Nemesis, and if you want to see something different from the same author (except his books on physics ;) ) -- the End of Eternity, which reads like a cross of HG Wells and Asimov and is completely orthogonal to all the rest.
Ideal for the times the First or Second Foundation and/or Gaia are making your hair hurt.
In the same vein, there's also "The Gods Themselves", which doesn't talk about gods at all, but whose chapter titles spell out "Against Stupidity, the Gods Themselves are Powerless".
