Damn, I should have planted the pomegranate in the chest cavity of a troll puppet.

It isn't but it could be.

I hear that Evil Overdouchebags make good fertilizer.  Is that true?

We make good fertilizer by composting shitheads. Plenty of those around here.
TrainerAZ
Just be sure to perform a proper compostmortem.
Louched Liver
I'll do that by kicking the fuck out of
your corpse until it blossoms open like
a fleshtone rose.
Then I'll poke through your guts w/a
pool cue.
Fuck off.
TrainerAZ
No, use yer cock. That way, you can create all sorts of little perforations and plant tiny seeds just under the skin.

There's been an unexpected tragedy following the minion's casual "Dress as a Belgian Friday".

You had only one?

Ah, you're *that* kind of evil overlord.
Louched Liver
The boring, waste of electrons type.
Louchelooker
Huh?
Louched Liver
Run up your post count by saying
something, not tagging.
Or, if you really are that stoopid, read
the posts like fucks talking.
See?
It's like a conversation!
Louchelooker
I wasn't trying to run up my post count. I was trying to take over the whole board and succeeded for a few minutes. I just couldn't think of anything to say for this one so I put, "Huh"? I was drinking, talking to another Lounger on the phone and feeling a little good at that point. So that has to count for something.
Louched Liver
No.
You post xit, it's xit.
Wanna taste?
Off. Jack Batemaster
Not of your dick, skanky old fucker.
Joseph Hitler
I'd suck it, crusty cunt.

The curtain raises on Puppet Theatre.

Let it here by be heard.
I am an idiot who has said many stupid things
but I never blamed it on the drink.
It ain't right.
From here on out, I say anyone who blames their idiocy on alcohol is really
just
an
idiot.
.
A.B. Normal
Alcohol certainly doesn’t cause idiocy, but it seems, on occasion, to act as an amplifier for it.

Besides being an asspipe, I've never proclaimed to be anything but an idiot.

There once was a man from Nantucket.
Who lost control of his puppet.
Twas the from the Land of Bogs he hated.

Hitler isn't really a common Scottish last name.
DrinkSlinger
I think it was changed as they got off the boat. Originally it was MacHitler... not to be confused with the fast food chain.

I just received seeds for Artemisia glacialis and have seeds for A.a. and A genepi on the way.

How are the Glacialis and "genepi" doing? Got any pics?

Yep, that's exactly what happened to grandpa Bobinoski.
Off. Jack Batemaster
My glacialis is very small, the mutellina never sprouted. I'll try again next year. I do have some adult glacialis plants that are doing pretty well.
DrinkSlinger
little fuckers aren't they....
Off. Jack Batemaster
Those look alot like mine! Why haven't you pulled the flowers off/cut off the flower shoots?

Tell that to the folks at Hill's.

Oh, wait. You said INNOCENT. Never mind.

If I had some of that it would have plenty of room to run wild .
DrinkSlinger
It's an inherently small plant. They just don't grow like A.A or even
A.Pontica... river.gif

The A. glacialis went into the ground last Saturday. 36 all together. The A. genipi are still fairly small and won't get transplanted for a couple more weeks. I will get some pics then.
Le Gimp
DS, those boys are truly Sweet looking!

My AA is not much better and they came as plants form CanuckyFuckyLand.
Nepenthes
Well, I went out to my parents place to check on my plants yesterday. Since I planted them 2 weeks ago, there has been almost constant rain. The A. glacialis isn't looking to happy at the moment. The A. pontica looks somewhat better and the A.a. is setting in quite well. If we could only keep the sun around long enough for the A. glacialis to get established, I would be a happy man.
toddk63
My A.A. I grew from seed this spring is looking good. Its about 6" tall and bushing out. I'm about ready to transplant in the ground. My Powis Castle I bought as a full grown plant is kicking ass too. I don't care what anyone says, the aroma of PC says it belongs in the coloration.

... but what does the taste say?

Try it, maybe you'll like it.
DrinkSlinger
So you say that A.A. likes shitty soil.

I just planted a little sproutling slopeside amongst a bazilion weeds in the parking lot at work. This soil has got to be the shittiest around. Let's see if the little sucker can transform a 1/2 acre of misc. weeds into a half acre of glorious wormwood.

I have. And no.
Le Gimp
In looking at one photograph of the harvesting of A.A., I think I have planted mine too close together. It appears that they were planted about 2-3' apart for normal cultivation. Mine are only about 18" apart. I might dig one up an move it.

They seem to be taking to the local conditions pretty well, and have almost trippled in size since planting.

Most of the Hyssops sprouts died during my vacation. I'll try starting more from seeds.

Now that the AP colored batch has aged for several months, it is loosing the earthy flavor and mellowing quite nicely. AP is not the best choice for coloration, but I think it is certainly a much better choice than A.A.

My AP died over the winter.
Kirk
I planted a row of hysop seeds and they all died.
I have a 5 year old plant though so I cut about a hundred branches off it,
stuck them in water for about two weeks and they all sprouted,
I set them out last week and they're looking good.
Next year will be a good year.
I don't know why I'm growing all this.
A hobby run amuck.
Le Gimp
That reminds me. I need to go to (EVIL) Wally Land after work and try to find rooting compound.

My brother runs a nursery where he raises potted plants (wholesale) to sell to a couple of stores. He told me that he uses sand and rooting compound and can grow just about anything from a clipping. I'm going to try it. (yea, like I need another hobby.)
Nepenthes
Be careul with that rooting compound. I used to use it when I raised carnivorous plants. I remember there being some pretty scary warnings on it.

.5g Lemon Peel

Thanks for the data point. I may give it a try anyway. Every time I walk by that PC plant, I give it a good petting to stir up the aroma....Mmmmm...Spicey!

Be careul with that rooting compound.

It is made up of growth hormone
and pesticides with anti fungals and algae killer.
I don't think a significant amount could end up in a mature plant though.
You don't need it, just keep the cuttings in clean water until they sprout roots.,
