I actually like it when the spelling starts to go. It is sort of my early warning system. First the spelling fails, then grammar and punctuation fall apart. Then I just start making a complete ass of myself. So if I stop when I can't spell, it is a good thing. With a spell checker, I'd actually end up looking much stupider. Considering where I'm starting, that would bad.
